Over 40,000 South Korea teachers demand legal protection against bullying from parents

UK Lord Chancellor faces claim that he is in breach of duty to provide legal aid for asylum seekers

UK charity Public Law Project (PLP) announced Monday they have written a letter to Lord Chancellor Alex Chalk claiming he is in breach of his duty to make legal aid available to asylum seekers in England and Wales, which he is obligated to do under s.1 (1) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012. The letter is a prerequisite to judicial review, should PLP and Chalk not reach a resolution.

Unrest at Eritrean event in Germany ends with 228 arrests

Police in the German city of Stuttgart stated on Sunday that they had arrested a total of 228 rioters following unrest near an Eritrean cultural festival the previous afternoon.
