The Tokyo High Court ordered on Monday a fresh examination of the lawsuit concerning the “ Paradise on Earth ” repatriation program, which saw the migration of ethnic Koreans and Japanese to North Korea in the second half of the twentieth century. The Attorney General for the District of Columbia (DC) Brian Schwalb announced on Wednesday a lawsuit against 14 of the city’s largest landlords. The complaint alleges that these landlords colluded with RealPage , a rental management software, to artificially inflate rental prices in the city. A 21-year-old junior at Cornell University has been charged in connection to violent online threats directed at his school’s Jewish community, WHAM reports. Patrick Dai was arrested Tuesday for allegedly posting a series of messages to the Cornell section of an online forum, threatening to brutally assault and kill any Jewish people he sees on campus and saying he was going to “shoot up” a Cornell dining hall that caters to Kosher diets and is located next to the Cornell Jewish Center.
