The EU expressed deep concern over the potential for “another genocide.” The conflict, ongoing since April, involves Sudan’s regular army and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The man, Aine Davis, was sentenced at the Old Bailey for the three offences, which date back to 2013 and 2014.
