Australian Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil stated in a Thursday interview that the federal government will introduce new legislation to monitor migrants who have recently been released from indefinite detention. Currently, over 80 people have been released in the wake of the High Court’s decision.

UK government must end GPS tracking of migrants, rights groups say

Human rights groups the Public Law Project, Bail for Immigration Detainees and Medical Justice Monday released a joint report calling upon the UK government to immediately end GPS electronic monitoring of immigration bailees. The tracking devices do not have an expiry date and can only be removed by court decision.
