Germany to decriminalize recreational cannabis

The German Bundestrat approved the Cannabis Act Friday to decriminalize limited personal cannabis consumption and cultivation, allowing the act to go into effect on April 1. The act seeks to better regulate cannabis consumption and combat organized crime. Cultivation associations are also not allowed to sell cannabis to minors.

New York judge voids state cannabis marketing rules

New York Supreme Court Judge Kevin Bryant invalidated Thursday the state’s laws regulating the marketing of recreational cannabis, clarifying a ruling that appeared to strike down all cannabis regulations as unconstitutionally vague. Other states that have recently legalized cannabis include New Mexico , Maryland and Missouri.
