It happens in corporate deal making as well; issues are discovered during due diligence that have a material impact, on both the deal, and the final legal invoice. The truth is that little has changed.

Despite the increase and escalation of cybersecurity threats, including cyberwarfare and ransomware, and clear warnings that law firms are targets, the poor cybersecurity approaches of lawyers were again the key take-away from this annual survey.
