Raiders, a Pennsylvania-based company, insured a yacht with Great Lakes. The insurer then filed an action for declaratory judgment in federal district court in Pennsylvania to determine whether the policy was indeed void. It argues that the 3rd Circuit’s decision has thrown all of that into upheaval and must be reviewed.
