Sandra Day O’Connor, first woman on the Supreme Court, dies at 93

One California-based firm, Gibson Dunn, did offer O’Connor a job – as a legal secretary. She stayed there until 1954, when she moved to Germany with her husband, who served as an Army lawyer.
