There is a troubling case in Panguitch, Utah where a woman has reportedly been charged with a hate crim e for allegedly “stomping on a ‘Back the Blue’ sign” at a gas station. The Court ruled that “the Government may not prohibit the expression of an idea simply because society finds the idea itself offensive or disagreeable.”.
