Supreme Court to decide Prop. 22 challenge and another SB 1437 resentencing case [Updated]

The 2018 legislation limited criminal liability for felony murder or murder under the natural-and-probable-consequences doctrine and allowed defendants convicted under those theories to seek resentencing. Koenig (2020) 58 Cal.App.5th Division Three held policy exclusions defeated the claim as a matter of law.
