Singer Industrial’s HR team sought to hire Payroll Specialists and a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to accommodate its ongoing growth and recent acquisitions. With limited bandwidth and competing priorities, the company’s Human Resources Director turned to iHire, an industry-focused hiring platform that also provides outsourced recruitment services through a retained search model.

iHire’s experts took Singer Industrial’s recruitment efforts into their own hands, first holding a kick-off meeting to learn more about the positions they were filling and the types of candidates they were looking for. iHire then developed and posted Singer Industrial’s job ads on two of its 57 industry-specific talent communities, iHireHR and iHireAccounting. Through iHire’s Job Slots, Singer Industrial’s postings were promoted to qualified, career-minded job seekers in targeted search results and job alert emails.

As candidates applied for Singer Industrial’s roles, iHire’s recruiters reviewed each resume, held phone screens with promising applicants, and passed along a handful of top candidates to Singer Industrial for formal interviews. iHire also used its powerful Resume Search to source potential candidates from its database of over 3.6 million resumes.

Recruitment Results from iHire

With iHire’s help, Singer Industrial hired four highly qualified candidates to its growing HR team – three Payroll Specialists and an HRBP – while saving time and resources. With iHire doing the heavy lifting, Singer Industrial knew it would receive only the best applicants to interview from a pool of 1,717 resumes. iHire estimates that it saved Singer Industrial hundreds of hours in reviewing resumes and phone screening candidates.

Moreover, Singer Industrial saw several astounding hiring metrics through iHire – job postings for its filled positions received a view-to-apply rate of 45%, which is 4.5 times higher than the industry average.

Additionally, Singer Industrial filled its roles two times faster than the industry standard, averaging 21.5 days from the time iHire posted an ad to the time it received an accepted offer. For example, one Payroll Specialist was hired just 17 days after the ad went up on iHire’s platform. And, because filling positions was so quick, new hires were able to start on average 31.5 days from the time the job was posted, bringing Singer Industrial even more value.
