A high school student in Coral Springs has been arrested by local police after allegedly making shooting threats against her school on social media, Eileen Zaffiro-Kean reports for The Daytona Beach News Journal. According to police, the suspect used another student’s identity to log into a school computer and post the threats on Snapchat. The threatening message, which went viral, read: “I will shoot up the school and kill every student here,” and caused panic at schools in Florida and other states. Zaffiro-Kean is facing four second-degree felony counts of up to 15 years in prison on each count and 15 misdemeanor counts.
