Kim Kardashian is rather infamous around these parts for her stated desire to take her reality television career and parlay it into a legal one. Kardashian is taking a nontraditional path available under California law to get there  — she’s studying as an apprentice rather than attending law school. And seeing as law schools require a bachelor’s degree before they admit you, that’s the only option available to Kardashian.

But she isn’t the only reality star looking to be a lawyer.

Gia Giudice made her television debut on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, where her mom Teresa famously flipped a table (not a euphemism).

But Teresa took a break from causing chaos on the show to brag about Gia.

“Gia graduated from Rutgers with a criminal justice degree and she moved back home,” Teresa shared. “She was working for an immigration firm, and now she’s working in corporate law.”

And on a recent episode of RHONJ, Gia revealed she’s enjoying the corporate side of the law, and is planning on taking another crack at the LSATs.

“I enjoy the law side of it to form the contracts,” she shared of what she enjoys about her current position.

“When are you taking your LSATs again?” Teresa asked her.

“October and November,” Gia replied. “My score wasn’t bad at all, but like, I want higher.”

Given her family’s legal troubles, perhaps it isn’t surprising that Gia is interested in the law. Both of her parents were sentenced to jail time for fraud — Teresea served 11 months and her dad Joe served 41. However, after Joe was released he was deported to Italy, but later moved to the Bahamas to be closer to his family.

According to Teresa, this motivated Gia’s career plans. “Gia got into immigration law because of what happened with her dad, but she’s still thinking about what kind of law she wants to get into. She’s very focused. I’m a proud mommy of four beautiful daughters,” she said.

Best of luck to Gia as she pursues her legal dreams.
