Cloud Court is pleased to announce that Greg Mazares, Sr. has joined its board of strategic advisors. Greg has over 43 years’ experience as a senior executive for public and private corporations in consumer goods, financial services, and litigation support services. He has spent the past 34 years as a senior leader of litigation services and legal technology companies and has particular expertise in building and selling such companies. Greg’s current roles speak to his wealth of industry experience and his background also dovetails with our obsession with depositions. At present he is Executive Chairman of ModeOne Technologies, on the Board of HCMC Legal, Inc. (the parent company of Hire Counsel and Mestel & Company), and an M&A advisor to legal industry investment bank Arbor Ridge Partners. He also consults with private equity firms interested in making material investments in the legal services and technology industry. Greg’s prior experience includes serving as President & CEO at Encore Discovery Solutions and President of Sales at Discovia, where he led the growth of both companies prior to their successful acquisitions in 2011 and 2017, respectively. Greg was also part of a management group which acquired over 40 court reporting firms across the United States to form Esquire Deposition Services, then was President of Spherion Deposition Services and Esquire Deposition Services. Greg holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
