iHire’s Chief People Officer Lisa Shuster Accepted Into Forbes Human Resources Council

Forbes Human Resources Council is an invitation-only community for HR executives across all industries

Frederick, Maryland – June 30, 2022 – iHire announces that Lisa Shuster, Chief People Officer, has been accepted into the Forbes Human Resources Council, an invitation-only community for HR executives across all industries. Shuster, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, also spearheads iHire's HR Services & Consulting practice, where she applies her 20 years of experience guiding companies on “people-first” workplace best practices.

Shuster was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of her experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

“We are honored to welcome Lisa into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Human Resources Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”

Prior to her current role, Shuster founded and served as President of PeopleWorks, LLC, an HR service delivery and consulting company specializing in small business HR. Previously, Shuster spent four years as Vice President of Human Resources at iHire during her first bout of employment with the recruitment marketing company. A SHRM Senior Certified Professional and a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Shuster holds a BS in Education from Towson University, and an MS in Human Resources and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

“With today’s talent shortage, tight labor market, economic uncertainty, and ongoing concerns around the pandemic, HR professionals are navigating an unfamiliar landscape,” Shuster said. “Now more than ever, the industry needs to come together to share ideas and solutions for creating workplaces that embrace empathy, engagement, and values-driven cultures. As a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council, I’m looking forward to furthering these critical conversations while bringing awareness to iHire’s brand.”

As an accepted member of the Council, Shuster has access to a variety of exclusive opportunities designed to help her reach peak professional influence. She will connect and collaborate with other respected local leaders in a private forum. Shuster will also be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share her expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com, and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.
