Biglaw Associates Are NOT Happy With This 4-Day Office Mandate

Fortunately, other firms aren't rushing to follow the leader on this (yet).

There is a very strong, negative reaction to four days a week. Two days a week is probably the magic number, if associates had the power to determine it – but they don’t right now.

Kate Reder Sheikh, a partner in the associate practice group of legal recruiting firm Major, Lindsey & Africa, in comments given to Reuters on the associate response to the four-day return to the office being mandated by a handful of some of the most elite Biglaw firms in the country. Luckily, as keenly noted by Jenna Greene, firms aren’t falling in line to follow the leader just yet as they would on other perks.
