All's Fair In Love And Attempts To Overthrow The Rule Of Law

Martial like war time, which is different from the beloved Tekken character.

As Miss Marjorie sat for her (alleged) crimes against the Republic, I was genuinely impressed that she was able to remember the lines she spoke during the recording of the recordings that she would later deny any memory of when in the hot seat. I, too, struggle with memory — I have painted many a room in sticky notes, used Evernote, Trello, hell, I’ve told my mom to remind me of a couple of things. The good news is that when you’re a public figure like Greeney, you don’t have to do the remembering — people bring receipts for you! Like the text thread that shows that for at least one point in time, Marjorie was definitely concerned with keeping Trump in power whether or not Trump won the election.

“In our private chat with only Members, several are saying the only way to save our Republic is for Trump to call for Marshall law,” Greene texted [Mark] Meadows, misspelling the word “martial.” “I don’t know on those things. I just wanted you to tell him. They stole this election. We all know. They will destroy our country next. Please tell him to declassify as much as possible so we can go after Biden and anyone else!”

Above all, I respect consistency. It is nice to know that even in what one believed to be a private conversation, Miss Greene dropped her “I don’t know” calling card. People forget. But when Marjorie forgets, she forgets. A forgetful forgetting that smells… I don’t remember. Which is what I’m expecting will be her response when this text is brought up:

Less than an hour and a half later, at 3:52 p.m., Greene texted Meadows again: “Mark we don’t think these attackers are our people. We think they are Antifa. Dressed like Trump supporters.”

How do you think she’s gonna go about distancing herself from the use of “we” and “our,” given that those people, whomever they are… are probably facing similar charges to what she’s going through at the moment.
