Texas state trooper, Uvalde first responder fired

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Friday Sergeant Juan Maldonado, one of the state troopers who responded to a shooting at Robb Elementary School in May. The department did not release a statement, but a spokesperson informed ABC New s that papers of termination were served to Maldonado on Friday.
