Of Course Biglaw Firms That Conducted Layoffs Are Going To Hand Out Market Bonuses

Come on, they can't afford to show weakness again.

Firms that were publicly in the news having done layoffs, I think they will be very sure to pay market bonuses.

Kate Reder Sheikh, a California legal recruiter for Major, Lindsey & Africa, in comments given to Bloomberg on Biglaw’s upcoming bonus seasons. Firms that conducted layoffs and deferred incoming associates earlier this year may be eager to show that they’re doing better now, but recall that many associates’ bonuses may be affected due to their compliance with in-office attendance policies.
