Is the Supreme Court really the 'most transparent branch in government'?

That’s a laughable statement, and Chief Justice Roberts knows it.

Gabe Roth, executive director of the court transparency group Fix the Court, in response to prior commentary made by Chief Justice John Roberts, where he said of the Supreme Court, “It’s not as if we’re doing this in secret. We’re the most transparent branch in government in terms of seeing us do our work and us explaining what we’re doing.” Roth went on to refer to some of the high court’s practices “galling” as far as transparency is concerned.
