Biglaw Or Bust: The Top Law Schools For Sending Graduates Into High-Paying Jobs

This is a great way for current and prospective law students to gauge their employment prospects.

Rankings season is upon us, and in advance of the release of the indefinitely delayed 2024 U.S. News & World Report Law School Rankings, we’ve got some employment statistics for you to feast your eyes upon if working in Biglaw is your jam.

The American Bar Association recently released new employment data for the Class of 2022, and thanks to an analysis made by Reuters, we now know which law schools sent the highest percentage of graduates to firms of 251 or more lawyers.

Without further ado, these are the top 10 schools for getting Biglaw jobs:

  1. Cornell: 79.7%
  2. Columbia: 78.05%
  3. Northwestern: 68.3%
  4. Duke: 66.82%
  5. Penn: 65.65%
  6. UVA: 63.91%
  7. NYU: 63.85%
  8. Chicago: 63.13%
  9. USC Gould: 63.13%
  10. Michigan: 58.46%
