“So Called” Journalism: NBC Calls the Two Respected IRS Veterans “So Called Whistleblowers”

C-Span Screenshot

When IRS supervisory special agent Greg Shapley and agent Joe Ziegler, testified this week, most honest observers were impressed by how they stuck to the details and the facts of their investigation. Even in friendly questioning, they refused to make judgments about motivations or conclusions. They were two of the most credible witnesses that I have seen on the hill. They were also the prototypical whistleblowers, civil servants who tried to raise concerns over special treatment and political interference internally and only came to Congress after all such efforts failed. They were then both allegedly retaliated against by the Biden Administration. Yet, in its coverage, NBC referred to the men as “so called whistleblowers.” That was not the disparaging description given other such witnesses, including figures in the Trump impeachment.  They were just “whistleblowers” or “respected public servants.”

On Thursday’s broadcast of NBC’s “MTP Now,” NBC News Capitol Hill Correspondent Ali Vitali discussed the new release of the 1023 form “to bolster these investigations that we saw them do earlier this week with IRS so-called whistleblowers about Hunter Biden.”

Figures like Joe Scarborough on MSNBC joined in the disparagement. In interviewing House Minority Whip Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA)  who actually called the corruption investigation “dangerous,” Scarborough said “we have these so-called whistleblowers who are saying, yeah, we’re really angry … It’s just a clown show with these House Republicans, isn’t it?”

It was reminiscent of how Democrats attacked journalists who came forward to offer detailed records of censorship by the Biden Administration. Del. Stacey Plaskett, D-VI, the ranking member of the House Judiciary subcommittee, attacked the reporters appearing as witnesses as “so-called journalists” and said they were “a direct threat” to the safety of others by reporting the censorship story. Plaskett also later called for the possible arrest of Taibbi.

It is all part of an effort to attack the credibility of those who raise corruption or censorship. Even Special Counsel John Durham was warned by Rep. Steve Cohen that he would end up burning “at the bottom of a pyre” if he did not change his views of basis for the Russian collusion investigation.

I wrote years ago that the media had bought into the Biden spin of the corruption story to the point that they would have a difficult time acknowledging the growing evidence of influence peddling and special dealing. Even after Joe Biden’s discussions of Hunter’s deals were revealed, the media continued to deny it.

Now, when two classic and credible whistleblowers come forward at great personal and professional risk, the media has to tag them with a “so called” pejorative reference.

What is left is so-called journalism where readers are given shaded and shaped accounts to advance a particular political narrative. It has the hallmarks of a new type of state media, where journalists follow an agenda not by coercion but consent.

    1. Dennis, Gigi, and anonymous the stupid,
Looks like it is time for you all to run for cover. Your boy, who has somehow survived being one of the biggest liars in American history for four decades (at least on par with Trump) is going down.
I tried to tell you that you could keep your marxist ideology and at the same time not prop up this juvenile hair sniffing and shower taking, bigoted, traitorous buffoon, but you wouldnt listen.
Hope you’ll come back after Devin Archer’s testimony next Monday and make your apologies for everyone you discredited and demeaned. And this time, please leave the “but Trump” in your bubble

  1. Everyone in the Federal government may be corrupt. I’m not going to worry about it, there has always been some corruption and there always will be. The bigger problem is who is controlling the mass media and why are they aligned behind the Biden mafia? Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch (is he still alive?) control two of the biggest media empires, but why are they covering for Biden? Enquiring minds want to know.

    1. If you aren’t worried about the corruption, why do you care if its investigated and reported on honestly by the “mass media”? Murdoch I believe owns Fox news, who have been shouting about the Biden crime syndicate since before he was elected. But they are dismissed as alt-right just because they do have some ultra conservative commentators. So why isn’t MSNBC alt-left when they have the likes of Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid spewing there contempt for anyone right of AOC? Those of us who truly are mainstream, and who understand that the Obama legacy gave us Trump (combined with the morons who conspired to attempt to put Hillary in charge of our country), are sick of it. SICK OF IT.

    2. it appears DOJ Prosecutor David Weiss may be compromised and/or biased against charging tax cheats like Hunter Biden since his father was.

“Weiss’ father, Meyer Weiss, worked as an IRS agent in Philadelphia from 1955 to 1984. He was caught accepting over $200,000 in bribes from businessmen seeking to break federal tax laws, and was sentenced four years in prison.”

“no one outside the rightwing bubble cares about Hunter Biden.”

That is your standard ? “no one cares” ?

Lets just give Hunter Biden a slap on the wrist – because no one cares.

No one cares that the president of the untied states has with near certainty been bribed while Vice President and traded government power for personal gain ?

If as you claim no one cares -= then why do YOU care ? If no one cares about the Biden crime syndicate – then republicans are shooting themselves in the foot with their investigations.

So shouldn’t you just let them ?

“Because Donald Trump, and his many court dates, suck up all the air.”
That is your standard ? Just shout out that your objective is the abuse of govenrment power to screw political opponents.
If your goal is to get more court dates – go for it. Keep filing more and more stupid charges for non crimes.

“That’s the problem with gorillas like Trump, they suck up all the air!”
    Atlast something true.

Though I would note that Trump is able to “suck up all the air” because he says things that lots of people want to hear.

Because lots of people DO CARE about what he says. So keep it up – amplify his platform. Make youself look even more corrupt.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
    Napoleon Bonaparte

“And speaking of Trump’s court dates, why can’t Turley comment? ”

Becaus rthere is no need to.

“There are plenty of developments begging for analysis from a constitutional scholar.”
Not really. Trump is being repeatedly politically prosecuted for non-crimes.
The only question here is precisely when and how this nonsense dies.

The constitutional issues are simple – how is this egregiously unconstitutional actions still proceeding ?

“The problem with Johnathan Turley is he rarely writes about real news stories.”
The near certainty that the VP of the united states took money from foreign powers for personal benefit in return for the exercise of his official powers DWARFS EVERYTHING in signifcance – as it should.

In all of US history I do not think we have ever had this credible of evidence of actual bribery of a sitting president.

We now have MULTIPLE sources claiming that the Biden family was paid millions for VP Biden getting Shokin fired and that VP Biden was a willing participant.

You are free to disbeive those sources – but should note that behind them are hundreds more as well as massive piles of evidence all supporting elements of the same corrupt scheme as well as a very broad pattern of bribery and criminal political corruption.

The evidence against Joe Biden is what YOUR wet dreams regarding Trump are made of.

Whether you like it or not – the probability that the president of the united states accepted bribes while VP is more important than pretty much everything.

Are you honestly going to argue otherwise ?

Do you think we can even have a functional country if “no one cares” about buying government ?

    1. I believe that was Jason who made those comments, and then couldn’t comprehend my response, because I used some commas and big words.

      Gigi the troll.
I couldn’t care less about Trump, and did not vote for him in either election, but your people are the ones who created him. Elections have consequences, as one “clean, well spoken black” once said (words in quotes are from sleepy joe the bigot). And that consequence was Donald Trump. Ruling by fiat, ramming thru unpopular and unconstitutional legislation, apologizing to the world, targeting political foes, etc. was the Obama legacy, and it sowed a seed of hatred that would only be quelled by electing someone who was equally abhorrent to the other side. So, thanks for that.

Every step of the way you have come up with a different “explanation” for the new evidence, and how it doesn’t implicate Joe. Read my comment below. He is on video admitting he had the prosecutor fired. There is evidence that he did it soon after discussions he had with others involved. Again, not proof. At least, not to someone with the kool-aid in their veins.

I hope that Devin Archer’s testimony to Congress soon, will shed more light on the Burisma scandal. Since you probably have no idea who he is, he is Hunter’s business partner that is pictured with Hunter and Joe and a Burisma exec on the golf course (are any of you aware of the code of ethics that demands the avoidance of the mere appearance of impropriety?). Anyway, this Devin Archer met with Joe Biden AT THE WHITE HOUSE, ONE DAY before he left for Ukraine. Within a few days, Archer and Hunter are on the board of Burisma.
He is currently in jail for fraud. Why is Congress having to try to get Archer to talk about that meeting??? Because the goddam FBI didn’t. Why? They had way more power to get a convicted felon to talk than Congress has. He is still appealing to get out of jail, and yet the FBI still hasn’t interviewed him with an offer of immunity re the Burisma dealings. By the way, anyone who solicited the VP’s help in exchange for compensation for him OR HIS FAMILY, is guilty of one or more felonies. Or perhaps Gigi or Dennis would like to offer one lousy possible explanation for why the VPOTUS was meeting with a crook like Archer when he should have been preparing for his trip to Europe the next day.

But I am sure, even if Archer spills the beans (unlikely without some incentive), you libtards will discredit him, or even act like you never heard about it (which is entirely plausible given the echo chamber you reside in).

Oh, and I will also give some details on the trail that leads from sleepy Joe to the Russian oligarch who has yet to be sanctioned, who paid millions to Hunters company and met with Joe at dinner, since the fan boys and girl probably haven’t heard about that yet either.

  3. Is it any wonder that the public has the least trust of journalists ever ?
Is it any wonder that the public trust of government is at its lowest level ever ?

All we need to know is in the fairy tales of the boy who cried wolf or the emporers new cloths.

Alex Jones, is more credible that any MSM anchor – and that is not saying much.

Regardless, the answer is to cease to give your ear to those caught repeatedly lying.

  4. The Democrats have politicized and weaponized all three letter agencies. It’s gotten to the point that it doesn’t really matter who’s in the White House, with the DOJ, FBI, DOD, and IRS working to undermine Republican presidents, in coordination with the media, Hollywood, all public schools, and most universities.

The country is run by Democrats at virtually all levels. Democrats control what search results you can find through Google algorithms. Public schools are Democrat madrassas to produce more Democrat voters. Universities blatantly harass conservative students, and will usually not hire conservative professors. The IRS has a long history of targeting conservatives.

It’s a coordinated god machine or hydra. All conservatives do is complain about it. We are not effective at ripping out the bias. We waited too long and now it’s become nearly impossible to do anything about it. What can effectively be done about the DOJ and FBI protecting Joe Biden and Hunter Biden from being held accountable for multi-million dollar international bribery schemes and quid pro quo? Someone left drugs in the White House, on several occasions, including marijuana and cocaine. It is apparently impossible to determine who did it, despite the White House being one of the most secure buildings on planet Earth, the areas being closed to the public, under guard, with facial recognition, sign in logs linked to government issued photo ID cards, and a list of everyone who went into any room at any time. It’s just impossible to solve the case. The White House is either so insecure that it would be helpless against a very basic terrorist attack using anthrax or ricin, without ever being able to catch the terrorist, or they are lying to protect the perpetrator.

If it were Trump with this much years long, documented evidence of pay to play, drugs in the White House, protected by the DOJ and FBI, there would be nationwide riots. But it’s Democrats, so it’s all fine.

  5. Jonathan: You claim IRS agents Shapely and Ziegler “were two of the most credible witnesses that I have seen on the hill”. Really? A lot of people have testified before congressional committees over the years. Almost 30 testified before the Jan. 6 House Select Committee. Among those was Cassidy Hutchinson, Pat Cippolone, Richard Donoghue, Rep. Rusty Bowers, etc. All were public servants, most loyal Republicans, who testified about the crimes of DJT. They were the most credible witnesses who have ever testified on Capitol hill. They were the actual “whistleblowers”–not Shapely or Ziegler!

Neither of the two IRS agents could provide any credible evidence of what you claim was “influence peddling or special dealing” involving the Biden family. Their basic complaint is that the DOJ slow walked the investigation of Hunter and refused to treat heir complaints seriously. David Weiss spent 5 years investigation the Biden family. That’s a long time compared to the time it took SC Jack Smith to being his first indictment of DJT–about a year. But what you totally ignore is the fact that Weiss, a conservative, was appointed by Bill Barr, Trump’s AG. If there was anyone who may have wanted to find serious crimes by the Biden family it was David Weiss.

And Weiss clearly stated in a letter to Jim Jordan that neither AG Garland or anyone else in the DOJ interfered with his investigation. He said he had all the resources he needed and was authorized to bring charges in any jurisdiction. Now you would think Jordan or James Comer would want to call Weiss to testify. He has said he would willingly appear before any of House Committees re his investigation. But neither Jordan nor Comer have apparently taken Weiss up on his offer. If there is anyone who could provide actual facts about the Biden investigation it is David Weiss–who would actually be the most credible witness seen on Capitol hill in years.

The reason the mainstream media uses the term “so-called whistleblowers” to refer to Shapley and Ziegler because neither fits the bill. These are disgruntled IRS agents who claim no one would listen to their complaints about bribery and other crimes by the Biden family. But they could provide no credible evidence to support their claims. No bank receipts or other evidence of some bribery scheme. All of Comer’s other witnesses have gone missing or are on the lamb. The mainstream media is doing it’s job by trying to present facts–not just the conspiracy theories by you and the MAGA Republicans. An egg salad of various speculative allegations is not the beef!

    1. Hey Dennis

“On April 16, 2014, Vice President Biden met with his son’s business partner, Devon Archer, at the White House. Five days later, Vice President Biden visited Ukraine, and he soon after was described in the press as the “public face of the administration’s handling of Ukraine.” The day after his visit, on April 22, Archer joined the board of Burisma. Six days later, on April 28, British officials seized $23 million from the London bank accounts of Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Fourteen days later, on May 12, Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma, and over the course of the next several years, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were paid millions of dollars from a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch for their participation on the board.”

Joe has yet to explain what interest the United States of America had (a billion dollars worth), in seeing to it that some obscure prosecutor in Ukraine was fired.

Is it speculation to logically conclude that these events are related?? Apparently in your small mind its just egg salad.

Come on dude, give it up. Are you that afraid of what Kamala might do in the Oval? Or are you concerned that the 25th Amendment will land Speaker McCarthy there lmao?
You can still have your Marxist ideology and admit that Biden is a thief, a liar, and a traitor.

    2. Neither of the two IRS agents could provide any credible evidence of what you claim was “influence peddling or special dealing” involving the Biden family.

Dennis, are you so stupid you have no idea the purpose of the Hearing?

    3. The reason the mainstream media uses the term “so-called whistleblowers” to refer to Shapley and Ziegler because neither fits the bill.

Whistle Blower is a statutory classification with defined, required elements.

These two meet the precise definition.

You’re on a sliding scale from knowledgeable to retard. Sliding into retard range.

    4. I feel sorry for you. What a partisan hack reply. Talk about facts, truth or fairness. Your reply lacks all three.

    5. Weiss “was authorized to bring charges in any jurisdiction” — except DC and California.

      Now the statement’s accurate.

    6. Just a coincidence, Gigi?

“During the Obama administration, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) approved a transaction that gave control over Henniges, an American maker of antivibration technologies with military applications, to a Chinese government-owned aviation company and a China-based investment firm with established ties to the Chinese government. One of the companies involved in the Henniges transaction was a billion-dollar private investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST (BHR). BHR was formed in November 2013 by a merger between the Chinese-government-linked firm Bohai Capital and a company named Rosemont Seneca Partners. Rosemont Seneca was formed in 2009 by Hunter Biden, the son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, by Chris Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, and others.”

And as a retired Navy submariner, I can tell you that antivibration technologies are a clear acoustical advantage that we have held over the former Soviet Union and the Chinese for decades. Striking deals to sell these types of companies to China can be in no way in the best interests of the US. Does anyone honestly think Joe had no knowledge of this?
And the worst part is, they did it (and continue to flaunt it) right in our faces, flying to China on Air Force 2. I wonder how the MSM and the commenters here would have handled DJT Jr living with his dad and following him around like a puppy on the people’s dime. It’s disgusting and you know it. Just own it and you can still keep your Marxist beliefs. Or are you afraid the other kool-aid drinkers you’re surrounded by will cancel you???

    7. Another one for Dennis and Gigi to try to explain. Let’s remember, Joe NEVER discussed Hunter’s overseas business dealings with him (since amended by KJP to be “was never involved with”).

“Archer also was involved in Hunter Biden’s efforts to help Russian oligarchs, including the billionaire former first lady of Moscow Yelena Baturina, to purchase US property — resulting in an alleged $3.5 million transfer from Baturina that surfaced during the 2020 presidential election.

Hunter Biden and Archer reportedly met with Baturina after that Feb. 14, 2014, transfer — in April 2014 at Lake Como in Italy.

Baturina was invited to and according to an eyewitness attended an April 16, 2015, dinner at Washington’s Cafe Milano restaurant with Vice President Biden.

That dinner also included Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi, according to his thank-you email to Hunter the next day, and a trio of Kazakhstani business reps, two of whom posed for a photo with the Bidens.

Baturina and another Russian billionaire with whom Hunter Biden shopped properties, Vladimir Yevtushenkov, remain unsanctioned by President Biden amid Russia’s more than year-old invasion of Ukraine.”

So these Russians are good Russians and are allowed to still do business with US interests….gee, what a coincidence.

      1. Also…..from @paulsperry:

BREAKING: Hunter Biden’s daughter Naomi met overseas w Burisma oligarch Zlochevsky’s daughter Karina. The 2 attended Burisma board meetings w their fathers. Naomi Biden works at Arnold & Porter LLP. IRS agents testified they were prevented from interviewing her in tax fraud case.

BREAKING: IRS agents were blocked from questioning Joe Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, after learning she received cash transfers from Hunter Biden. “I wasn’t allowed to go and interview [her],” IRS agent Joseph Ziegler said.

Apparently the entire Biden family was in on the grift. Just who are these people occupying the People’s House? An early red flag was Jimmy Biden and Hunter Biden doing business with mobster Whitey Bulger’s nephew, who’s been a WH guest.
Think about that for a moment. #IrishMafia

        1. So Naomi and Valerie Biden also appear to be guilty of tax fraud. And i have a young friend who made $24k two years ago and was just audited. We sure do need those additional 35k irs agents, dont we Gigi and Dennis???

  6. Turley’s assignments for today are to bolster the so-called “whistleblowers”, which is essentially an attack on the Biden administration and to disparage main stream media: “They were two of the most credible witnesses that I have seen on the hill.”. Turley has become pathetically predictable. He has ignored Trump’s calls for violence if he gets a third indictment, and also the new polling that shows that even with a 3d party candidate, Biden would still beat Trump. Then, there’s the scandal involving the stolen Israeli cultural items that have turned up at Mar-a-Lago, that the Israeli government has tried to get back since Trump left office.

Turley also says: “I wrote years ago that the media had bought into the Biden spin of the corruption story to the point that they would have a difficult time acknowledging the growing evidence of influence peddling and special dealing. Even after Joe Biden’s discussions of Hunter’s deals were revealed, the media continued to deny it.” Here’s one simple question for you, Turley: where is any proof of communications GENERATED BY JOE BIDEN proving any of the “corruption” you claim? Hunter has drug abuse problems–maybe he was just puffing the goods, bluffing, or blustering like Trump does? Is there any proof that JOE BIDEN did anything wrong? No. Where, in any of this “growing evidence of influence peddling and special dealing”–influence peddling is proof that Joe Biden did anything wrong? Turley admits “influence peddling” isn’t illegal.

    1. There’s Gigi the troll, at it again. One does not need “proof”. Anyone with an analytical mind can take a mountain of EVIDENCE and establish guilt. If your standard were THE standard, almost no one would ever be convicted of murder. My DNA on the knife, the video of me buying the knife, my cellphone pinging at the house of the victim, 100 miles from my home, at the time of the murder, my car on video in the neighborhood, the victims bloody clothes found in my car, are not PROOF that I killed her. You can say it all you want, and keep changing the goal post, but for anything above a dimwit, PROOF is not what is required here. The 1023 is EVIDENCE that Joe not only knew, but actually orchestrated the deal. If the recordings are eventually produced, you will claim it’s not PROOF because they can’t PROVE it’s Joe’s voice, the texts were doctored, and the emails are fake. Just give up and stop looking like a bigger fool with each post.

      1. WHERE is the evidence GENERATED BY JOE BIDEN that any of these allegations are true? There isn’t any–but, does that stop people like you from believing he’s a crook, with all of your heart? No, it doesn’t. All of this is, of course, a deflection away from actual proof of the actual crimes committed by Trump. Hunter Biden admittedly is a troubled person. He has a substance abuse problem, he lost his mother and sister in a vehicular accident. His brother, Beau, died of brain cancer. That’s enough tragedy for one lifetime. Republicans endlessly harp about how messed up he is, but when there are things allegedly on his laptop that implicate his father, you buy it hook, line and sinker. So, in addition to his other faults, maybe Hunter just likes to play up the fact that his father is Joe Biden. What he wrote that people like you say is proof of criminality (remember–Turley said influence peddling is not illegal), might just be BS–bluffing, boasting, puffery. You don’t have any communications generated by Joe Biden proving wrongdoing, no cash trail to follow–nothing, but does that stop you from believing that Joe Biden is a crook? No. Turley knows better. And, how could allegedly “demented” Joe “orchestrate” whatever you claim is the “deal”?

        1. Secret tapes and coerced payments: Top 10 Biden-Burisma bombshells from FBI informant memo
“[I]t cost 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to another Biden,” he said. CHS repeatedly warned Zlochevsky against retaining Hunter Biden and not to make an international incident of the Shokin case, though Zlochevsky contended that it was too late to change course and that both Joe and Hunter had pressed him to keep Hunter on the board.

“Don’t worry, this thing will go away anyway,” the Burisma executive added.

          https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/top-10-biden-burisma-bombshells-fbi-source-doc

          1. From CNN:

“The 1023 form memorializes claims from an FBI informant, but it doesn’t provide proof that the allegations are true. Republicans, though, have seized on the unverified material as part of their broader investigation into the Bidens.

The FBI document indicates that the informant provided the information to federal investigators in June 2020, but was describing meetings and conversations dating back to 2015.

The FBI document says an informant described a 2016 meeting where Mykola Zlochevsky, the CEO of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, claimed that he had made two $5 million payments to “the Bidens,” though he didn’t specify who received the alleged bribes.

“It costs 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to another Biden,” Zlochevsky told the FBI informant at a 2016 meeting in Vienna, according to the document.

The informant, whom the FBI has described as highly credible was “not able to provide any further opinion as the veracity” of the claims, according to the FBI document.”

So, you have an “informant” who repeated what someone else told him–double hearsay–inadmissible in any court of law. Again, I ask: WHERE is the evidence GENERATED BY JOE BIDEN that any of these allegations are true? Where are the cancelled checks? There isn’t any, so why do you Trumpsters continue to believe that crimes have been committed?.

            1. Double?? So a police report of an interview with a witness or suspect is hearsay? LMAO

Again, no its not “proof”. It’s more evidence. But when combined with Joes admission on video that he coerced the Ukranian government to fire the prosecutor, when there is no apparent US interest in doing so, as well as all of the other evidence, it could be probable cause for warrants and subpoenas. If he has nothing to hide, I imagine he would willingly turn over his text messages and emails from August 2014.

        2. You really think it takes a lot of smarts to orchestrate bribery? Ouch Besides, that was 8 years ago. Hair sniffing Joe still had half a brain then. His lack of lucidity is apparent because he actually thought he would get away with it.

        3. Evidence generated by Joe Biden??? WTF does that even mean? Business associates involved with the Biden family schemes have given statements and provided emails and texts that indicate Joe was aware and involved. They met with him, discussed among themselves how to address him and refer to him. But no, you need to hear Joe say it? I mean my god, do you even listen to yourself??

You sound like someone who has been hiding under a rock (or at MSNBC) for the last 3 years.

          1. And there was at the very least, probable cause for the FBI to subpoena Creepy Joe’s text messages. I mean, they f-ing look at congressional aids emails with less cause. So why didn’t they? The US attorney in the IRS probe (what was her name?) said it best. Oh, here it is…

Yet, despite agreeing that there was probable cause, AUSA Wolf cited the ‘optics’ of executing a search warrant at President Biden’s resident as the deciding factor for not allowing it to be completed … AUSA Wolf also told investigators they should not ask about President Biden during witness interviews even when the business communications of his son clearly referenced him.”

        4. Gee, no cash trail. Let’s see, what would one do to avoid a cash trail?? Create 20+ shell companies and accompanying bank accounts? Pay family members, including grandkids, instead? Receive cash payments from “business partners” instead of directly from wires? Have family members pay bills and for vacations and such, including luxury hotel rooms? Might “pop” make son give him “half of his money and make him pay for everything”? Co-mingle bank accounts??

There is evidence to all of this. And ALL without the benefit of a proper criminal investigation. One can only imagine how quickly this falls together once the thread is actually pulled. Offers of immunity, large payments to a few informants, threats of real jail time, and your boy is gonna go down hard. If you really love creepy Joe that much, you better hope the DOJ doesn’t change hands in 2024.

I’m sure this is all just coincidental and inconvenient to your deliberate head in the sand approach to the subject.

        5. You are gaslighting again.

There is that word again. Proof (at least Snopes knows the difference). Are you deliberately acting like a moron? No one is claiming that Joe and Hunter got paid 5 million each directly. But they have already uncovered some THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS paid to the Biden shell companies and there are still banks who have not responded. Snopes, what a joke.

Lots of evidence, no proof. We get it already. LMAO at the stupidity.

          1. I provided a lengthy citation to Snopes, and it got blocked. Snopes says there’s no proof of bribery, and in the longer piece, it explains that the form released by Senator Grassley contains nothing but raw, unverified allegations that haven’t been proven–someone says something to an FBI agent and they write it down on the form. This is double-hearsay–nothing more than “so and so reports that so and so said this or that about the Bidens”. Nothing. From “Snopes”: :

A newly declassified FBI document proves that Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden each received $5 million in bribes from Burisma Founder Mykola Zlochevsky.
            Rating: False

Yet, you believe–why? Quoting you: “are you deliberately acting like a moron?” Your alt-right media tells you there are all of these “shell companies” set up by JOE Biden–WHAT are the names of the “shell companies”, and where’s the proof that JOE Biden was involved in setting any of them up and/or benefits from them? Corporation information is public information–the names of the incorporators, the registered agent and incorporation documents themselves can be obtained from the Business Services Department, the Office of Secretary of State or similarly-naned agency in the state of incorporation. Where are these documents, and why don’t those people who claim these things back them up with something resembling proof? None of the things you claim are “evidence”–they wouldn’t stand up in a court of law. Yet, you believe Joe Biden was bribed and paid off via shell companies that are not named or identified.

            1. Nobody said Joe set up the shell companies, gaslighter. Hunter did. So now you doubt the existence of these companies? The IRS found the exact same thing as congress did. The IRS agents testified under oath as to their existence.
You know why the IRS found them, or even looked for them? Because thats how people hide money and TO WHOM it is being paid.

Did you even watch the hearing??? Obviously you didn’t or you wouldn’t be questioning whether these shell companies exist. The dimwitted democrats on the committee didnt question the existence of the shell companies or the moneys said to have been paid to them. Keep getting your info from CNN and Snopes, it appears you like being in the dark.

            2. Some are named and identified here. You will see the rest when Congress completes their investigation. But it will make no difference to you, because there is no proof…which apparently is only if Joe addresses the nation and admits it on live TV. Even then, you’ll probably claim someone off camera was pointing a gun at him, coercing his confession.

The Biden family and its business associates created a complicated web of more than 20 companies, according to bank records obtained by the House Oversight Committee — a system, GOP lawmakers say, that was meant to conceal money received from foreign nationals.
Sixteen of the companies were limited liability companies formed during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president, the committee said in a press conference on Wednesday. The Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received more than $10 million from foreign nationals’ and their related companies, the records show. These payments occurred both while Biden was in office as vice president and after his time in office ended.
In what Representative Nancy Mace called an act of “financial gymnastics,” many payments were routed from foreign companies to the Biden family’s business associates’ companies which then doled out payments to the Bidens in incremental payments to different bank accounts in an alleged attempt to hide the source of the funds.
              Top
At least nine Biden family members received payments, according to committee chairman James Comer. That includes Hunter Biden; James Biden; James Biden’s wife, Sara Jones Biden; the late Beau Biden’s wife, Hallie Biden; Hunter Biden’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle; Hunter Biden’s wife, Melissa Cohen; and “three children of the president’s son and the president’s brother.”
Much of the money came from Chinese nationals and companies with ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Multiple Biden family members received money after it passed through an associate’s account. Comer said of the countries the Biden family was influence peddling in, China is “the most reputable.”
The committee revealed Wednesday that records suggest the Biden family and its associates’ business dealings in Romania “bear clear indication of a scheme to peddle influence” from 2015 to 2017.
At the time, then-Vice President Biden spoke out against Romanian corruption while the Biden family received more than a million dollars from a company controlled by a Romanian national, Gabriel Popoviciu. Popoviciu, who has been accused of corruption, sent the money through a Biden family associate, according to the committee. Sixteen of the seventeen payments involved in the deal occurred while Biden was still in office. The money “stops flowing from the Romanian national soon after Joe Biden leaves the vice presidency,” Comer said.
The Bidens also received “millions of dollars from China,” with Comer saying it is “inconceivable that the president did not know” about the payments.
Comer said the information revealed Wednesday is the result of subpoenas to four different banks and stressed that the committee is still early in its investigation and believes there are as many as 12 banks with records relevant to its investigation.
In March, the committee previously revealed that Hunter Biden, James Biden, Hallie Biden and an unknown fourth Biden received a total of $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to Biden family business associate Rob Walker in 2017, shortly after Walker received a $3 million wire from a Chinese energy company.
The subpoenaed bank records show that State Energy HK Limited, a firm affiliated with CEFC China Energy, wired $3 million to Robinson Walker, LLC on March 1, 2017 — less than two months after then-vice president Joe Biden left office. The following day, Robinson Walker, LLC wired $1,065,000 to European Energy and Infrastructure Group in Abu Dhabi, a company associated with James Gilliar, another business partner to Hunter Biden.
The Biden family members and their companies then began “receiving incremental payments over a period of approximately three months,” the committee’s memo from March states. “The recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden, and an unknown bank account identified as ‘Biden.’”
The unknown “Biden” account received $70,000 from Robinson Walker, LLC between March and May of 2017, according to subpoenaed bank records obtained by the committee.
Robinson Walker LLC sent Hallie Biden $25,000 on March 20, 2017, according to the memo. One month earlier, she received a $10,000 transfer from Robinson Walker LLC shortly before it received the $3 million payment.
Meanwhile, an account belonging to Hunter Biden received $500,000 during that time frame, while an account belonging to James Biden received $360,000.
The memo also revealed that Walker’s account sent money to Biden family members in 2015 while Joe Biden was still in office.
“On November 5, 2015, Robinson Walker, LLC received a wire from a company (the Committee continues to investigate the identity of the account holder for this company) that had an overseas bank account in the amount of $179,836.86,” the memo adds. That amount appears to have been split between Walker, Gilliar and the Biden family. Hunter Biden’s account received $59,000 on November 2015.

            3. And for the love of god, get a dictionary. Snopes says there was no “PROOF”. It doesn’t say there is no EVIDENCE. And no, hearsay isn’t admissible in a court, but you better believe it has been used to further investigations. WTF good is an informant, if what he has to say is dismissed by the investigators as “hearsay”?? Again, its like you’re purposely ignorant. If the Russia collusion fiasco taught us anything, its that its quite plausible that a lefty supervisor or attorney in the FBI put the brakes on that investigation before it even got started.

            4. And by the way, Gigi,
If a foreign national approaches me (or my son) as VPOTUS, and asks me (or my son) for help as VPOTUS in getting something he wants, and I leverage taxpayer money to make it happen, and in exchange I (or my son) ask him to donate 5 bucks to my (or my son’s) favorite charity, that’s BRIBERY. Its not influence peddling, its not good old boys doing favors, its not puffing or fan boy-ing. If my son asks for $5M, and I take the action, that’s still BRIBERY, regardless of whether he ever gives me a sniff of that $.

Article II, Section 4 provides: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, BRIBERY, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

        6. LMAO at Gigi
“…Playing up that Joe is his father..”. To whom??? Third graders?? So, somehow, drug addict Hunter convinced dozens of millionaire businessmen, from all over the globe, to give him millions of dollars, just because sleepy joe was his old man??? Do you people ever say this crap out loud?? It might help.

I own a business. I wouldn’t trust HB with 20 bucks to pick me up a foot long sub (cuz that sends a message, right CNN).

        7. Right, no cash trail, no nothing. The Biden crime family worked hard to hide it, didn’t they?

The best is hearing President Biden laugh it off and say, “Where’s the money?” in response to White House press questions about his alleged involvement in a criminal bribery scheme.

“Where’s the money? No, I’m joking.”

    2. Doesn’t obfuscating and gaslighting ever make you weary??? It seems way harder than rational thinking.

“Influence peddling” is what the evidence shows Hunter was engaged in. It may itself be illegal or not, but many of the behaviors and acts surrounding it certainly are.
What Joe apparently engaged in is called bribery, and its illegal and impeachable.

    3. You deserve Biden, let him stay with you for awhile? Obama is in his 3rd term as our first gay president

    4. You are gaslighting again.

There is that word again. Proof (at least Sn*pes knows the difference). Are you deliberately acting like a moron? No one is claiming that Joe and Hunter got paid 5 million each directly. But they have already uncovered some THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS paid to the Biden shell companies and there are still banks who have not responded.
      What a joke.

Lots of evidence, no proof. We get it already. LMAO at the stupidity.

      1. Just wait til they uncover the *offshore* Biden bank accounts….it’s gonna be way more than $30 million dollars.

    5. Gigi
Looks like you are going to get your wish. You could have saved yourself from looking like a partisan nut job by just admitting although there was not “proof”, that there seemed to plenty of there there. Now what are you going to do, claim Archer doesnt have first hand knowledge or that its just f-ing hearsay?

Joe Bribin’ is going down and the damage this will do to our country is on your heads because you elected him, knowing he was damaged goods and unfit to be president.

  7. Don’t be a gay Democrat and be a whistleblower because you’ll be abandoned in a New York minute. Gay whistleblower or black conservative judge and you will be thrown from the house in shame. They will do their very best ruin your life and you will be required to wear the so-called arm band wherever you go. I feel a little throw up in my throat.

  8. @KateHydeNY

Biden’s health problems are going to suddenly and conveniently become a problem the day before we hear audio of Joe Biden being bought by adversaries.

  9. Of course, the mainstream media refuses to acknowledge Greg Shapley and Joe Ziegler as genuine whistleblowers. They were reporting on matters of important public concern, stuck strictly to the facts, and carried out their duties professionally and without concern for politics.

The mainstream media, however, considers a pure political hack like Alex Vindman to be a “whistleblower,” precisely because he was motivated strickly by politics, had nothing factual to reveal, had nothing of importance to the public to relate, and was simply a tool of the Deep State to spread misinformation. They don’t call the mainstream media presstitutes for nothing.

  10. It’s all moot because the corrupt DOJ will never ever prosecute the Bides (or any Democrats).

  11. Democrat Party members of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform wholly failed to impugn the credibility of Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler. They knew from the get-go they would be unable to do so, which explains why they asked no questions that would have any probative value and instead used their time to grandstand and not offer either of the two formidable whistleblowers to speak about the evidence they discovered.

That, however, was not the most revealing circumstance for the minority’s members deflections. What was most discomforting was their purposefully overlooking the fact that both the case agents and frontline prosecutors had agreed that felony charges were appropriate against Hunter Biden, but that it was higher-ups (Weiss through Garland) in the Justice Department who directed the case to be concluded otherwise. The minority members kept up the constant refrain that because Weiss was Trump’s appointee it should be logically accepted that the case ended on its merits. Weiss may have been Trump’s appointee, but the jury remains out on whether or not and to what extent Biden owns Weiss. As for Garland, all that needs to be said is that he is first and foremost Biden’s wingman.
