Brace Yourself For More Compensation News!

At least one former partner's aching for this kind of money right about now.

People holding money handRemember when Bracewell was “Bracewell & Giuliani”? That legal dream team aged pretty poorly, huh? Bracewell managed to escape its association with the leaky lawyer to establish itself at No. 121 on the Am Law 200 with $303M in gross revenue last year. Now we’re told it’s going to match Cravath salaries effective January 1.

As a reminder, this is what matching Cravath looks like.

Class Bonus
Class of 2023 $225K
Class of 2022 $235K
Class of 2021 $260K
Class of 2020 $310K
Class of 2019 $365K
Class of 2018 $390K
Class of 2017 $420K
Class of 2016+ $435K

As of now, the firm hasn’t moved on the bonus issue yet, though we have no reason to believe they won’t be matching eventually. I mean… salary is the heavy lift, right?

So we’ll update when we hear about bonuses.
