This former judge has worked in public service for her entire career, and her take on accepting a Biglaw partnership is refreshing.

— Retired federal Judge Roslynn Mauskopf, who most recently served as director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts and before that as chief judge of the Eastern District of New York, in comments noted by the New York Law Journal on her new role as a partner at Bracewell. Mauskopf will work in the firm’s New York office in its government enforcement and investigations practice.
