happy woman pumping fists ecstatic celebrates success under a money rain falling downHappy New Year! What better way to celebrate than by ushering in a new compensation scale for associates?

Yesterday afternoon, Wilson Sonsini — a firm that brought in $1,354,000,000 gross revenue in 2022, putting it at No. 33 in the most recent Am Law 100 — delighted associates (and of counsel, too!) by announcing raises and bonuses in line with the Cravath scale. This is what the new compensation grid looks like at the firm, effective February 1, 2024:

The firm is also following the Cravath scale for year-end bonuses. Take a look:

Associates must have billed at least 1950 hours to be bonus eligible — and it’s certainly worth noting that the first 40 hours of an associate’s time off at the firm will be considered billable. Bonuses will be paid on Wednesday, January 31.

Congratulations to everyone at Wilson Sonsini!
