Ed. note: Welcome to our daily feature, Quote of the Day.

I started my career in New York working for civil rights organizations. So while my move can be perceived as a dramatic change or a leap—and it is in a sense that the art world is new to me—there’s a piece of this aligned with my values and what I’ve done in the past in the pro bono space.

Mitchell Kamin, who formerly served as co-leader of Covington & Burling’s commercial litigation practice, in comments given to Bloomberg Law on his new role as the first general counsel of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, founded by George Lucas and his wife.
