This is not about Harvard law students. This is about the leadership of Harvard and how much of a megaphone it has on the world stage. They should use that megaphone responsibly.

I understand that this is not going to be as relevant to them than if Skadden Arps pulled out, but I’m hoping they start seeing that even the liberal firms think this is well past a line.

Jay Edelson, founder and CEO of plaintiffs’ boutique Edelson PC, in comments given to Reuters regarding his decision to boycott Harvard Law’s recruiting events in the wake of University President Claudine Gay’s Congressional testimony last week regarding campus antisemitism. Edelson informed the law school of his decision via letter. Thus far, Edelson appears to be the only firm to step away from the elite law school’s on-campus interviewing programs. The firm plans to explore other ways to recruit Harvard Law students outside of these formal recruitment methods.
