Lawyer Compares Bank Robbery Plea To Super Bowl Champs Because... Reasons

Finally a Chiefs story that isn't about Taylor Swift.

FootballXaviar Michael Babudar is better known as Chiefsaholic, a Kansas City superfan who dresses as a wolf while rooting on the defending champs. He’s also an accomplished bank robber, with six robberies across four states. He took a guilty plea this week and faces a 50-year prison sentence.

But his attorney Matthew Merryman put a brave and cringeworthy face on it all with a string of football analogies.

Why is it Chiefs Kingdom? Like, a “chief” is an entirely distinct monarchical system.

Shocked the video isn’t interrupted by a Mahomes State Farm commercial.
