Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye will be teaching at the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies a course titled, “The Constitutional Framework of Public Safety.” The course is described as one that “will explore the Constitution as the ethical compass that guides the work of public safety professionals and cement a fundamental understanding of the U.S. Constitution and the subsequent 27 amendments to the Bill of Rights.”

In an interview, she says, “I am passionate about justice, civics and the law. UVA offers me a unique opportunity to teach in all these areas to students who are nationwide public safety professionals and have life experiences to share.”
